Shakespeare in the Rookery – Henry Vth

An open air production starting at 3.00pm. Sit on the lawn or bring a chair. Tickets are best purchased in advance but a limited number will be available on the day. (Social distancing and masks will be necessary if coronavirus restrictions dictate them.)

Birds of Prey Flying Display

A variety of birds of prey (e.g. hawks, falcons, eagles, owls) will be on show throughout the afternoon and a selection of them will take part in a flying display on two occasions. A free event but donations on the day will be appreciated. (Note that weather conditions could cause cancellation and that coronavirus restrictions could still be in place.)

Butterfly Walk

Starting at 3.00 pm by the Rookery main gates. Join Peter Newmark on a leisurely stroll to see what butterflies are around and learn a bit about them. A free event.

Bat Walk

Meet at the rookery main gates at 8.00pm. Join Iain Boulton for a stroll at dusk, armed with bat detectors, to discover the Common's bats. Bring a torch. A free event but booking essential.
